The electro-pneumatic hammer drills NAREX are intended mainly for percussion (impact)drilling into solid building materials, e.g. reinforced concrete, aggregate-filled concrete, precast concrete products or natural stone.
Effective drilling is guaranteed by the electro-pneumatic impact mechanism which is designed – unlike the impact drilling machines – by a “cylinder-piston-ram-tool” system and by a simple clamping system enabling wireless energy transfer from the device to the tool tip and its linear reverse motion. The applied system leads to high penetration of the clamped tool without the necessity to apply a higher force, even when drilling with high-diameter tools which are absolutely beyond the capability range of the impact drilling machines.
The hammer drills designated as “combined” are equipped by the mechanism for switching-off the rotating tool movement and for utilization of the complete energy of the device for chopping.
